Racism- A serious threat

Hola friends!

Are we familiar with this or we are completely ignorant or we are not at all bothered, let the shits happen around, who cares? It’s a major issue these days, everyone is unwillingly a victim because of it. It’s definitely a known and familiar topic that goes in our daily life but we do not care, we do not realize what they go through,,

It’s everywhere, it’s complicated, it’s completely globalized, from schools to workplaces, or places where social lives are occurring. We felt that it’s gone long back but this is not the case we are still facing and knowing everything we are doing nothing, going blindly with the flow. We have developed skills that a person is brought into this lively world, as a racist by birth. It’s all a mental thought and completely a bullshit.

Change is inevitable still, we behave foolishly, we as a human don’t want to change at all. We feel so pleased and comfortable with getting recognized that it becomes really hard to adopt the things which we are not familiar with.

 Dughhhh !!

Why I am discussing all this? Why I am showing my frustrations?

The reason being, I was really exasperated and upset after watching a show a few days back. I don’t want to make any prejudice comment or anything which disapprove you rather than I want your opinion about what you all really think about it truly.

Well, what I understand is, it’s really pathetic and disguise when someone is discriminated, judged on the basis of “RACISM”.It’s a slam to our face that being educated, being a scholar and well-cultured, we eliminate people from our environment, from our place, from are a so-called ‘Circle’.

I am not particularly pointing out the cities or any country but all have known its occurrence. Because of this issue people(those who are discriminated) do not get the same education, job opportunities, at least decent paying job. So many struggles, daily rush to earn bread and butter for survival. Not only that in few countries its been seen that just to avoid this most parent do not send their kids to school because of the fear of racism that will endure their children, that will affect them. Parents have feeling that their children might get bullied because of the skin color of other children and they would be ok on doing so and no one will stop them for doing as they didn’t know that they are doing wrong and are least ignored. Parents are also not teaching them that they shouldn’t do. What a child do is, what they are taught and what they see around their surroundings. They try to replicate their parent’s image. We have to understand that these kids are toddlers, they will learn what we teach them, they will nurture the way in which we mold them to. We just can’t point out a particular person for this because somewhere we are responsible willing or unwillingly.

We have to break this monotony. Life is not perfect neither do we, rather than becoming the blockage of others survival we should try to improve ourself first, we should try to figure out the faults in us than to pointing others, find out the ways to avoid this hatred, discrimination, impulsive behavior for others. Each and everyone’s life matters. All are here equally important, we all have right to be treated humanely. Anger, hatred, bullies, ill-teasing, not going to take us anywhere. The person who is not educated will do the same as the one who is educated. what difference does it make about their thinking then?

Can we betake our precious time to educate yourself, your people, change mindsets so that we can change the false notion and can do a little betterment so that in future no one can illtreat or bully or harass anyone?

Think twice before the act. It’s really an important aspect of life!!

  1. I want to first congratulate you for being brave to talk about this Bhavya. It’s really thoughtful of you my friend. What you have said is true and sadly that is how the world is. Sometimes after experiences such horrors people are forced to think that there is no hope in living in this world. All we can do is pray that such atrocities gradually diminishes with each day. But then it’s just a faint hope !!

    1. Yes ua right!!, but hope is that thing which can change each one of us,and life’s, see, everyone has their own perception of living, no one’s thought should be biased,I don’t want to judge them, just want to convey the message that every one should have given equal rights, should be treated equally and humanely, so they can’t be discriminated in any field, either schools, workplace or anywhere.
